Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born on April 24, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. She is an American TV personality and singer-songwriter. In 2002, she took home the American Idol talent contest. Clarkson was born in Burleson (Texas) located in a suburb of Fort Worth. Her vocal ability was noticed at the age of seven years old from the head of the choir department at her school. Clarkson was able to leave high school and relocate in Los Angeles where she failed to break into the entertainment industry. When she returned to Texas her name was announced as participant on the initial season of The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol, a singing show that allowed the audience to choose their favorite performer. Clarkson's impressive voice, charm and humour won the hearts of viewers. The prize she won was $1 million and included a recording contract with RCA.
