Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez, a Cuban/American TV arbitrator who works for Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. The actress was raised in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was 2 years old, accompanied by family members. Ana Maria Polo from Habana is the host and producer for Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado" which is among the most popular Spanish-language shows on the network. It was nominated as one of the Daytime Entertainment Emmy for Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards in 2015. The show was ranked among the top performers for all the key demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. Following her graduation the Florida International University's Political science program, she relocated to Havana where she stayed for 20 years. She then earned the PhD in Law from the University of Miami, and was a lawyer for over 20 years within Miami. She earned her PhD from the University of Miami, and then practiced for twenty years in Miami. Polo made her first appearance on TV in 2001 as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal expertise was also employed to produce other court programs. Literature Accolades and Literary Work In 1958, Polo released her novel Los Hijos Muertos. It won both the Critic's Prize for Literature and the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain to move to her home in the United States in 1960. Polo often speaks and is able to raise money to support the campaign. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights throughout her career. She graduated in 1987 of the University of Miami School of Law and a Florida Bar member.
