Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the United States and is a writer from Greece, a syndicated journalist as well as a businesswoman. She was a co-founder of The Huffington Post the founder and CEO of Thrive Global and the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington has been a TV host, journalist writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for more than 10 years. She is also the proprietor of The Huffington Post, an free-of-cost online news magazine. Her move to Greece to England when she was 16 years old, and obtained a MA from Cambridge University in Economics. The first non-English student, she was elected president of The Cambridge Union' at the age of 21. Her success as a columnist of the conservative side was confirmed after she graduated. With the introduction of The Huffington Post a few months later, she launched an online voice-portal that provided critical opinions on the political situation. The fame she gained helped her to convince several famous people to share their opinions about current affairs, political and culture. Arianna was famous when she made the decision in 2003 to become an Independent Candidate for the California Recall Election in order to succeed the Governor Davis. Also, she was the head of an Detroit fuel-efficient car project. She was named one of the Most Popular Women in Media according to Forbes in 2009 and was awarded the 12th spot on this list. That same year Guardian listed her among the top 100 media list. AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post in 2011 and named her head of its media division that also includes additional AOL products like Engadget AOL Music Style list and Patch Media. Her parents were journalist and manager Konstantinos along with his partner Elli Stasinopoulos. They were very close to her father, but it was the relationship she had with her mother that formed her. Even in her formative age, she displayed the leadership abilities for which she's still known. As a 16-year-old her family moved in England in the United Kingdom for her higher education. In Girton College Cambridge. While in college she was a member of the college debate society Cambridge Union where she became the third foreign, and first female president. She graduated in 1972 with a degree in Economics. After her graduation, she was a critic columnist and television host. She was a guest on Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she started writing her own books with his assistance.
