Kelly Clarkson is an American artist and singer. She was the country's love interest when she won the American Idol title in the initial season of the show. The win brought Clarkson to fame and earned her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. In the years since her debut, she released numerous albums. Of those albums three reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The others were close to the top spot. She is considered one of greatest success American Idol artists. In order to achieve success she experimented with different genres of music and experimented with themes. Her individuality and her singing ability earned her critical acclaim and a number of important awards. She was awarded an award called the Grammy Award 3 times. Apart from her singing career, she also has worked in film and TV. In addition, she is the author of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in numerous charitable organizations.
