Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu, an American voice actress, director, and singer, is also an accomplished actor. An attractive and intelligent actress, she's an example to many Asian actors who want to be successful in Hollywood. The early successes of her were boosted when she appeared in several popular television show. There, she portrayed the villainous Ling Woo. Following her popularity, she was offered important part in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). The actress then gave a superb performance in the role of Japanese criminal O'Ren Ishii as part of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. In the meantime, her roles as an actor in films that failed at the box office such as Rise: Blood Hunter were equally prominent. In the following years, she started voicing the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's tiny screen role as a character in Cashmere Mafia did not produce anything of note. An appearance in the critically acclaimed police drama Southland has helped her regain recognition as an established actress. Liu is extremely careful when picking her roles so that she's not a typecast. Liu is also an accomplished artist that isn't restricted by her ethnicity.
